This summer we are celebrating 10 years in Wexford. Now with offices in London and Dublin, we are recognised as a serious niche player in the Developers and Contractors QS services market. We assist architects and homeowners and we are developing an expertise for social housing which is so important to our economy.
We continue to grow our team with both international talent from South Africa and interns from Carlow IT and we have graduates joining us in September as the demand for our services increases.The publicity and recognition, that our two awards from County Wexford Business Awards generated, has been incredible for new business. We have been in the local newspapers, on radio and multiple websites. It is great recognition for the team and the work they have put in over the recent years.

Award Winners for “Operational Excellence” and “Service Provider of the Year”
It is a big milestone for the firm as we are celebrating 10 years in business and have grown from a small house office to 13 staff in the Enniscorthy Enterprise Centre along with an office in Dublin and London. These awards were judged by experts in the business community following presentations by Ronan and John.
McGrath QS open in London
Ronan and the team are delighted to announce that they have opened a 3rd office located in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London. The first assignment is in Acton, NE London. It is an 8 story mixed use building with 64 residential flats.
This is the first live project on site and is set for completion Q2 2023. Many more will follow shortly as there many projects in the pipeline that will start in the coming months including Barking, Hayes, Palmers Green, Old Kent Road, and Dagenham.
Intern Programme a great success!
This summer, McGrath QS have given three interns the opportunity to gain valuable practical quantity surveying experience as well as see how a leading niche QS firm works before they undertake their final year’s study. Every year as part of the Intern Development Programme, Ronan McGrath welcomes interns from Carlow IT (where he studied himself) to give them an opportunity to work with a senior QS and learn as much as they can over the summer months.
This programme has been running since 2018 when Patrick Hickey was an intern and stayed on after his summer work and he is still here today! Every year some interns stay for a while and gain valuable experience before travelling abroad. This is the first year McGrath QS have taken on 3 interns and the other members of the team are delighted to welcome Eoin Dunbar and Sofiat Alam who are 3rd year students while Gavin Redmond has just finished 2nd year. The Graduate programme will see 2 graduates join the firm in September.
